Fury in a heated match last night outclassed Sam Sexton in the 5th round to win the British Heavyweight Championship at the Macron Stadium, Bolton.
Hughie Fury, who’s just 23 years old and younger by 10 years to Sexton saw the start of the bout in defense as Sexton pushed him backward with high intensity of punches.
Fury gradually returned into the fight as the rounds progressed, connecting with good jabs on his opponent and often planted heavy right hands on Sexton. By the time they got into the 4th round of the bout, Fury was already in clear dominance, connecting with jaw-dropping combinations to floor Sexton.
Though Sexton returned in the 5th round looking to turn the tides, another brutal hook from Fury brought down Sexton for a second time in the competition, forcing the referee to end the fight.

The exited Hughie Fury wasted no time in appreciating his dad. He said,
“I’ve done everything he said tonight – this fight is dedicated to my dad. I was confident. My body has got so much stronger.
I worked on my right hand over Christmas. It was a boxing masterclass. I dream to be a world champion. Whoever has those belts – I’m coming, although I lost [to Parker] I’m coming, I’m ready to fight,”
